THE environment is back in the news today thanks to the UN climate summit in Copenhagen.
The pressure is on world leaders to make massive emissions cuts in a bid to curtail the damage being done to the planet.
It's all well and good waiting for China, America et al to do their bit - but we're all capable of making a difference.
You've probably heard it so often that you no longer pay attention, but it's the small things which make a difference: not putting electrical goods on stand-by; switching lights off when you leave the room; boiling just one cup of water for a cuppa; recycling; walking to the shop around the corner instead of driving; using bags for life; turning your heating down just one degree; washing your clothes on a cool setting...
But do you do all of this or just the odd token bit?
