POLICE who stopped a car in Droitwich found drugs and £12,800 cash inside the vehicle.
Bundles of banknotes were wrapped around the spare wheel in the boot and more were inside a carrier bag, Worcester Crown Court heard.
The cannabis - worth only £1 - was between the seats of Paul Jauncey's Vauxhall Astra, said Kerry Moreton, prosecuting.
Jauncey told police he was "just a runner" after being stopped in Bromsgrove Road on February 12.
The 26-year-old from Trehearn Road, Droitwich, pleaded guilty to possesion of criminal property and possession of drugs.
Judge Toby Hooper QC said Jauncey must have had a close relationship with people which could eventually lead to jail.
He said if the defendant was caught "running drugs or money" again he would go to prison.
He gave Jauncey a six-month jail term, suspended for 18 months, and told him to do 100 hours of unpaid work.
The money seized by police was forfeited. Jauncey had a caution last year for permitting premises to be used for smoking drugs.
Joe Kieran, defending, conceded that only a jail sentence could be passed for the offences.
