A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital after she fell off her horse.
Ambulance crews were called to Blakeshall Lane, Wolverley in Kidderminster shortly after 11.40am this morning.
An ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford were dispatched to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a woman, believed to be in her 40’s, who had fallen from a horse.
“The woman was treated on scene for head and back injuries. She was immobilised using a spinal board and given pain relief at the scene, before being airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
