HOSPITAL staff and police have growing concerns for a man who has been missing for more than two weeks.
David Chitty was last seen at Newtown Hospital, Worcester, on Tues-day, November 17.
He failed to return after his daily two-hour leave period.
Staff and police are now increasingly concerned because of his medical needs.
A spokesman for West Mercia police said: “There is a growing worry that Mr Chitty will have become confused and begun to behave oddly as he has missed his medication.”
Although it is thought 48-year-old Mr Chitty may have tried to reach relatives in France, there is no evidence of him leaving the country and he could still be in the Worcester area.
He is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of heavy build with dark brown hair brushed into a quiff and brown eyes.
Mr Chitty was last seen wearing a blue shirt, a brown cardigan and brown trousers.
Anyone who believes they can help in the search for Mr Chitty is urged to call police on 0300 3333000, quoting 572S/171109.
