SANTA is going to be arriving at a garden centre in Worcester today.
Raising money for children’s bereavement charity the Noah’s Ark Trust, this will be the seventh year he will be visiting St Peter’s Garden Centre.
The Mark and Ark Masons of Worcestershire will be hosting a Santa’s grotto at the centre and all proceeds raised will go to the charity which supports children and young people who have lost a loved one.
Santa and his elves will be arriving by Rolls-Royce at 11am today and will be receiving good children until 5pm.
The grotto will be open each weekend thereafter up until Sunday, December 20.
Father Christmas will also be in attendance on Monday, December 21, Tuesday, December 22, and Wednesday, December 23.
However, he will be very busy on Christmas Eve preparing his sleigh with presents ready to deliver after midnight. Noah’s Ark chief executive Gabby Beddows said: “It is wonderful that St Peter’s Garden Centre and the Masons choose to support us every year.
“For some of the children that we support, Christmas can be a very difficult and emotional time.
“We would like to thank everyone who is involved in the event for their dedicated support and to all of those children and families who go along to visit Santa.
“Without the support of local people we would be unable to provide our service free of charge to bereaved children.”
