A CHARITY has offered to donate food to Worcester - but needs people to help.
His Food, an international organisation that distributes food, clothing and humanitarian supplies all over the world, will deliver 26 pallets full of food to Worcester if residents can find somewhere to store it and ways of distributing it.
Sharon Zan Antwerpen, of St Paul’s Hostel, Tallow Hill, said it is an opportunity not to be missed.
“We’ve got a few ideas and we’ve spoken to the Salvation Army which is happy to be involved, but what we need is a group of volunteers who are willing to work together and distribute this food to people who need it.”
The volunteer group will have to pay £15 administration for each pallet, but the food itself will be worth much more to Worcester’s vulnerable residents.
Anyone interested in helping out is urged to call Ms Zan Antwerpen as soon as possible on 01905 723729.
