THIS distinctive 'tag' left behind by a graffiti vandal in Droitwich could help police catch the culprit.
The town’s east local policing team has already found several locations where the tag appears on bins, signs and fencing as well as some shop windows, but wants to hear of any others.
One tag has been added to a white sign on the Lido Park tennis courts using purple spray paint.
Three teenage boys are under investigation in relation to criminal damage offences and officers want to ensure all incidents have been identified.
Local policing officer Vanessa Conde said: “Tags are like a signature and unique to an individual or individuals so if any members of the public have fallen victim to this particular tag then we would like to hear from them.
“This request is rather unusual in that we frequently make appeals for witnesses to specific incidents, but very rarely ask for other examples of a similar offence.”
Anyone with information can call LPO Conde on 0300 333 3000, extension 3302.
