A MAN escaped serious injury when he was hit by a car in Worcester city today.
The 30-year-old man was hit in Deansway shortly before 12.30pm. A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, who sent an ambulance and rapid response unit to the scene, described the man as “walking wounded”.
He was able to walk away from the crash and to the Worcester College of Technology building on Deansway for help before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment.
