FLOOD barriers were erected at Upton today as the Environment Agency warned the River Severn would continue to rise until the middle of the week.
The Agency put up the low level barriers at the waterside near the Swan pub this afternoon as the river burst its banks.
High level barriers have been loaded onto trucks so they are available tomorrow if needed.
The EA warned that flooding was occuring of low lying farmland and caravan parks between Worcester and Tewkesbury along with low lying roads at Upton.
