A FUND-raising coffee morning to help the homeless is being held at Worcester’s Guildhall next month.

The event which is raising money for St Paul’s Hostel Dry House Project will be be held on Friday, December 18, between 9am and 1.30pm.

The Bromyard Road site provides beds for seven homeless men who wish to live a substance-free lifestyle.

The aim of the project is for clients to stay for up to two years and then move into suitable independent accommodation with ongoing support.

All funds raised will be used directly to benefit clients in schemes such as training courses, day trips, computer equipment which is used for job searching, housing and college courses.

A spokesman for the hostel said: “Please join us and enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee or tea and one of our delicious cakes or mince pies in the run up to the festive season.

"There will also be a bric a brac stall with lots of exciting items and tombola stall.”
