MORE than 20 people were evacuated from their homes after a suspected arson attack on flats.
Police and fire crews were called to a house fire in Mitton Street, Stourport, late yesterday evening.
They were called to a third floor flat in the street where firefighters discovered a small blaze in the hallway.
The building was evacuated along with residents from eight neighbouring properties, all owned by Wyre Forest Community Housing.
Nobody was injured in the blaze which was quickly tackled and people were allowed back into their homes at about 1am.
Now police want to hear from witnesses who may have heard of seen anything in the moments leading up to the incident.
