A FORMER Worcestershire schoolboy has completed a marathon cycle journey down the length of Britain raising more than £5,300 for St Richard’s Hospice.
Richard Morris, aged 24, cycled 950 miles in nine days starting at John O’Groats. He called on his parents David and Nancy Morris at Kempsey during the trip before continuing his journey to Land’s End.
Mr Morris was born in Kempsey and went to Kempsey Primary School, Hanley Castle School and then on to Worcester College, Oxford University. He now lives in London.
He said: “The best part of the journey was the beautiful scenery.”
