Police are hunting for a teenager who approached two young children in a play area and made sexual suggestions to the girl.
The incident happened at 3.30pm on Sunday when a 10-year old boy and 9-year old girl went to the play area in Penhaligon Way, Hereford.
They were joined by a teenager who engaged them in conversation about computers.
After a while the conversation turned to a sexual nature and the girl attempted to leave. The teenager grabbed her arm and made lewd suggestions which upset her.
The 10-year old boy then hit the teenager to protect the girl and the pair ran off home.
The teenager is described as white, about 16-years-old, with short black hair. He was of a chunky build, with spots on his face and cold sores around his mouth.
He was seen to ride away from the area on a silver and red Apollo bicycle.
Police urge anyone who may know the identity of the youth in question to contact them as soon as possible by calling PC Polly Price at Hereford Police Station on 0300 3333000 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
