A CHARITY which helps people with breathing and chronic lung problems is celebrating its 10th birthday with a party to help raise awareness.
The party to celebrate 10 years of Worcester branch of Breathe Easy will take place at KI Health and Beauty Salon at 58 Lowesmoor in Worcester on Wednesday, November 18 at 7.30pm.
The official anniversary is on Monday but the party will be held on Wednesday to mark World COPD day.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is an umbrella term for people with chronic bronchitis, emphysema or both, chronic conditions which affect airflow to the lungs.
The evening includes drinks, nibbles and advice on health and beauty and a raffle and all proceeds will go to Breathe Easy and the British Lung Foundation.
So far the charity has raised over £2,000 this year through street collections at Morrison’s in Malvern, Tesco in St Peter’s in Worcester and a sponsored walk.
