PETER and the Wolf will be performed at a unique children’s concert this weekend.
Worcestershire Symphony Orchestra will give a family concert at Bishop Perowne CE College in Merriman’s Hill Road, Worcester, at 2.30pm tomorrow.
The programme will include music from Tchaikovsky's family-friendly ballet The Nutcracker and Prokofiev's musical story Peter and The Wolf.
The 50-strong orchestra, who held an open rehearsal of the concert at Oldbury Park School in St Johns, earlier this month, are currently in-between musical directors.
Jennie Bond, spokesman for the group, said: “We’re excited to be working with the community like this. We’re hoping to reach a new audience with concerts like this one.”
Tickets will be available on the door.
