CLASSICAL music lovers from all over the UK are expected to visit Worcestershire for a one-off concert.
The Boyan Ensemble of Kiev, whose members come from Ukraine’s prestigious Revutsky Academic Male Choir, will perform at Malvern Priory on Wednesday, November 25.
The popular group has played a vital role in preserving sacred Orthodox chants and traditional Ukrainian music which were banned under communism.
“The Boyan Ensemble has a very loyal following and there is a tradition of enthusiasts following the choir round the country to attend as many concerts as possible,” said Margarete Rolle, from the choir.
“This year, after the unprecedented demand for tickets for our London concert, there is a real possibility that those who have missed out will try to get into some of our other concerts and this will result in tickets being at a premium.
Tickets are available from Malvern Bookshop, Abbey Road, on 01684 575915.
