LEADERSHIP in tough economic times was the theme of this year’s Worcestershire Assembly.
The annual assembly brings together leaders from the county’s local councils, health authorities, emergency services, businesses, and voluntary and community groups to discuss the work done by the Worcestershire Partnership.
This year’s meeting took place at Worcester Racecourse and attracted more than 200 people.
Delegates were given the first results from the Place Survey – a poll that asked local people about their peceptions of the area in which they live.
The audience was also given the opportunity to quiz a panel of local leaders in a Question Time-style session chaired by your Worcester News editor Kevin Ward.
The key talking point was the looming threat of public service cuts and their potential impact on the people of Worcestershire.
