PEOPLE living in Malvern are being asked to help police tackle crime and anti-social behaviour as part of a Home Office initiative.
Officers from West Mercia Police’s local policing team were invited to join a Green Clean Up with Malvern Hills District Council’s street scene wardens to identify areas that may require attention such as litter.
The team set up a Not In My Neighbourhood stand at the library in Graham Road yesterday where they gave away balloons and goodies and offered advice about crime prevention.
The event was part of Not In My Neighbourhood Week which aimed to raise local and national awareness of the work being undertaken to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.
