A GLAMOROUS evening of fashion and dance is set to raise funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend Salsa with Promesse at The Crown and Sandys restaurant in Ombersley, near Worcester, on Thursday, November 12.
The glittering event has been organised by women’s boutique Promesse and will combine a fund-raising fashion show with informal salsa dancing.
Promesse owner Gill Mills said: “We’ve had fashion shows and we’ve raised money for Acorns. “We thought that this would be a little different.
“There’ll be a party atmosphere with bubbly and canapes. There’ll be a chocolate fountain and salsa demonstrations.”
Mrs Mills, who runs the dress store in The Tything, Worcester, encouraged men to get involved.
“It’s nice for the girls to go out,” she said.
“But we want to encourage a few more guys to come along.”
Tickets are priced £15 and all proceeds from the night will go to the Acorns hospice in Bath Road, Worcester. To book call 01905 723462 or Vicki Brant on 07831 853359.
