MALVERN Library is inviting residents to come along and take advantage of a new scheme offering free legal consultations.
The library, in Graham Road, has joined together with DF Legal to offer the service, which runs fortnightly on Thursdays between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. The first event takes place on November 12.
The half-hour sessions with a qualified lawyer will give people the chance to find out more on a host of issues including family law, employment law, probate and landlord legislation, as well as tenant law.
Library Manager, Delphine Telfer, said: "These new sessions have been set up to give people in the community, who may need help, the chance to speak to a qualified lawyer.
"It's the first time we've set anything like this up and at the moment we're currently the only library in the county to have these in place.
"We'd like to encourage any residents with legal questions to come along and take advantage of the advice on offer."
