LADY golfers have raised £4,086 for a much-needed breast unit.
The cash was collected throughout the year by the Sapey Ladies Section at Sapey Golf Club.
It was handed over to consultant surgeon Steven Thrush at a very special presentation on Thursday, October 22.
Ann Roberts, lady captain of the golf club, said: “I am delighted with the amount raised and would like to thank everyone who has supported the club in raising the funds for such a good cause.” Your Worcester News is supporting The Breast Unit Campaign, which aims to raise £2.5 million to bring the unit to Worcester and help slash breast assessment waiting times for men and women.
