OUR annual meeting was held at the Poplars. Pat and Angela welcomed members and we remembered those unable to be present due to illness.
Pat gave her report for the past year, Peggy Mears her financial statement and Angela her report.
There were no new nominations for the positions of officers so the existing ones were re-elected.
There was a reminder that our fellowship will be hosting in Wychbold Church next year’s annual gathering of church fellowships in the diocese.
Angela produced a quiz she had compiled, themed on outdoor matters. Sheila Amess won.
A happy evening closed with prayers and a reminder of our November meeting, which will be on Monday 16 at 7.30pm in the Poplars when we hope to have Joan Moore as our speaker to tell us about her father’s life as a farm labourer in Wychbold.
