THERE was a good number of ramblers for the October walk. We followed Colin Hill around footpaths in Wichenford.
The rain stopped shortly after we started and was followed by warm sunshine and blue skies with wonderful views. Open farmland, common land and woodland paths gave a mix of terrain, only spoilt by some poor stiles. The twisty footpath through Monkwood was a delight, especially with the lovely colours of the leaves enhanced by the autumn sunlight.
