A SCHOOL for disabled youngsters will be built despite opposition from neighbours.
The new school will be built on the Little Orchard site in Bransford, while the existing house will provide accommodation for pupils.
But objectors blasted planners for giving the green light saying it would put the lives of motorists travelling along the busy A4103 road “at risk”. The plans were passed at a special council meeting to consider the application after a decision was deferred to gather more traffic data.
Kevin Garrington, who lives in nearby Chapel Lane, said: “Sentiment for the social aspect of this application has been at the expense of road safety. It’s appalling.”
