FOUL weather has forced the cancellation of a family fun event due to run today in aid of charity the Prince’s Trust.
The Superhero Challenge was to take place at seven venues across the city with a clue-linked treasure trail from 10.30am but organisers have now called off the bash.
Bob Marley, organiser, this morning said: “The fact is we couldn’t expect people to be walking around the city for two hours in this weather so we’ve cancelled.”
He added the event would now be re-arranged for spring and asked anybody who had pre-registered to contact Treasure Trails Herefordshire and Worcestershire to get a refund.
The event was due to start at Bushwackers Bar, The Cross, Worcester, and included activities across the city like rock-climbing and go-karting.
The Met Office was predicting rain would clear up in the afternoon to be replaced with sunny intervals.
