MUSIC students from a Worcester day centre have taken part in a Good Vibrations concert.
The students, a percussion group called Turrumbeat, from Cherry Orchard Day Centre joined professional musicians to play live at Worcester Rugby Club.
The concert raised £600 which will go towards the purchase of instruments and sensory equipment for use at the day centre.
During the evening, Turrumbeat performed a selection of popular songs, Ray Mytton, musician and tutor, and guitarist Paul White played classic rock.
Local musicians formed a band, Touchstone, for the night and professional musician Dave Onions performed two sets of his own compositions in his distinctive percussive guitar style.
Event Organiser, Steve Garvey, the centre’s manager, said: "Throughout the evening many of the students joined in spontaneously with the other performers and the day centre was buzzing for days afterwards.”
