SKATERS can have a go on the refurbished park opening in Tenbury Wells at the weekend.
The new park in Palmers Meadow will be officially re-launched following the facelift and update between 10am and 4pm tomorrow.
Youth group Wheels in Motion will be hosting the event, with food, drink, music and an open invitation to anybody who wants to take a look - or have a go - at the new look park.
Between 10am and 11am, helmets and boards will be provided for members of the public who wants a go at skateboarding.
The overhaul was funded by the DABID capital funding scheme, after a bid by Tenbury Playful Spaces.
Manda Graham, Malvern Hills District Council play manager, said: “This park is a fantastic example of young people working together to achieve something that all the community can share in.”
