A REMEMBRANCE Day service is missing a key player - a bugler.
On Sunday November 8, the country will fall silent in silent memorial to the fallen of all the wars.
The Severn Valley Railway commemorates the dead railwaymen of the First and Second World Wars with a service on the platform at its Kidderminster Town terminus.
But as yet, the railway has been unable to find a bugler or cornet player to sound The Last Post and Reveille at the ceremony starting at 10.45am.
Service organiser Andrew Harding has appealed for players to come forward.
“I really hope there’s a musician who would be willing to step in and make the difference to what is always a very moving and worthwhile tribute.”
Anyone who can help should call the SVR on 01299 403816.
