PLAY rangers will be out and about this autumn offering children who have little or no places to play the chance to get out and have some fun.
Arts workshops, sports and outdoor activities ranging from den building to creative play and pottery making will all be organised.
The project, now in its second year, also encourages children to address issues such as bullying and anti-social behaviour during the free sessions which are open to all children aged above five-years-old.
The play rangers will be at Walshes Community Centre, Heronswood Road, Stourport-on-Severn, between 4pm and 6pm on Friday, November 13, Friday, November 27, and Friday, December 11, as well as 11am and 1pm on Tuesday, December 22.
The play rangers project has been organised by Wyre Forest District Council in partnership with Borrowers Toy Library thanks to funding from the Big Lottery Fund.
Since it started it is provided more than 130 sessions for children across the district.
