A CYCLIST suffered head injuries after thugs threw what is believed to be part of a brick at him.

The male was struck on the head as he cycled around skate area in Abbey Park, Pershore, around 6pm on Sunday, October 25.

He suffered a severe cut above his left eye and further minor injuries when he fell off the bike.

Although he did not see the culprits, he heard people running away from the scene.

Police are now asking members of the public to help identify the attackers.
