THE Go Ape chain of adventure parks, which has a branch in the Wyre Forest, raised £11,000 for the Gorilla Organization by taking part in the Great Gorilla Run.
About 600 participants, including Wyre Forest instructor Matt Bottomer, ran the streets of London in their gorilla suits.
The 7km (4.5 mile) run started at Minster Court and took in sights such as Tower Bridge.
The Gorilla Organization works to save the world's last gorillas in the wild by funding small grass-roots community projects run by local African partners.
