A CYCLIST was left seriously injured following a crash with a car in Stourport-on-Severn.
The incident happened at the junction of the A449 and the A450 Worcester and Hartlebury Road near the Black Bridge at around 12.45pm yesterday.
An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival at the scene, crews found a car and a bicycle that had been in a collision.
“The cyclist, a man believed to be in his 40s suffered serious arm and shoulder injuries. He was treated at the scene and transferred to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment and emergency treatment.
“The hospital had been pre-alerted to the man's arrival and serious injuries. No other person was injured in the crash.”
