Two car collision closes county road
A WORCESTERSHIRE road was closed off for about three hours following a collision between two cars.
The A46 Evesham bypass was shut off in both directions between the A4184 and B4035 Badsey Road following the incident which happened near Morrisons about 11.30am today.
Inspector John Beddows, of West Mercia Police, said the vehicles were “badly damaged”.
Two ambulances attended and one patient was taken to the Alexandra hospital in Redditch with minor injuries.
The road has now been reopened.
PC Steve King is urging any witnesses to the collision between a red Ford Fiesta and blue Renault Clio to contact him on 0300 333 3000, quoting 123N/241009.
