ACORNS Children’s Hospice will celebrate its 21st anniversary next month with a celebration for families, supporters, staff and volunteers.
The event will feature a mix of music and dance, along with reflection and a chance to look at pictures.
Hospice fund-raiser, Sophie James, said: “We’re really keen that everyone who has helped or been supported by Acorns over the years are not overlooked, so we are sending out a welcome to everyone who has been involved, past and present to come along to the celebration event.”
The event will be held at 2.30pm on Sunday, November 22 at the Great Hall, Birmingham University. The hospice has also launched its Christmas appeal.
Supporters can sign up for Acorns Christmas Packs containing posters for the workplace, where people leave Christmas messages for each other, and money boxes to collect donations.
Also on offer are Christmas cards and raffle tickets with a top cash prize of £2,100 – to mark the anniversary year.
The hospice offers nursing care and support to Worcestershire children who have life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses, and their families.
Anyone interested in the anniversary event should call 01564 825000 while those who want a Christmas pack can call 01905 761220 or email: christmas@acorns. org.uk.
