THREE people have been sentenced to a total of nine years and nine months for people trafficking and prostitution offences.
Cheung Zhao Su, Ziqian Liu and Bochao Nan were involved in trafficking vulnerable women from China into brothels in Worcester, Kidderminster, Birmingham, Cheltenham and Leamington Spa areas of the UK between October 2006 and September 2008.
Su was given a four-and-half year sentence for people trafficking and managing and controlling prostitution for gain, at Hereford Crown Court today.
Liu was ordered to serve two-and-a-half years in prison for the same offences.
Nan was ordered to serve two years and nine months in prison for managing and controlling prostitution for gain.
