A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after coming off his bike in Worcestershire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the A438 Tewkesbury Road, near to the Duke of York pub in Berrow, near Ledbury, shortly before midday today.
An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived to find a motorcyclist who had come of his bike.
“The 65-year-old man from Northamptonshire was out riding with a group of fellow bikers when he reportedly mounted a grass verge whilst travelling through a bend. He suffered a hand injury and was complaining of neck pain.
“Crews treated the man at the scene and immobilised him with a neck collar and spinal board before taking him by land ambulance to Gloucester Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
