A MAN has suffered burns from a bonfire in his back garden.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Malvern Road in Powick at 3pm yesterday.
A man, believed to be in his 40s, suffered second-degree burns to his forearm and wrist. He was reportedly making a bonfire in an old oil drum when the flames suddenly flared up.
Ambulance crews applied cool dressings to his burns and administered pain relief before transferring the man, who has not been named, to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.
