A COLOURFUL firework display marked the end of a night of celebrations at an historic Worcestershire property.

A selection of the two counties luminaries gathered earlier this week to help the directors and staff of a commercial and residential developers celebrate its centenary year.

Held in the regal surroundings of the newly acquired National Trust property Croome Court, visitors to the celebrations held by Lansdowne Rodway, of Worcester, heard music performed by chamber members of the English Symphony Orchestra.

Lansdowne Rodway’s family chairman David Rodway welcomed the guests with some anecdotes of the company’s 100 years in business in Worcester.

Speaker Michael Smith, the National Trust property manager of Croome Park said, they were keen to restore it to its former glory and secure the future of the property.

The event was held to raise awareness for Spinal Research.
