A community sports day will give people in Fernhill Heath, near Worcester, the chance to try activities including rugby, cricket, angling, netball and hockey.
The sports day has been organised by Spa Housing Association after councillors said they wanted to encourage people of all ages to become more involved in exercise.
The sports day will take place at Fernhill Heath’s recreation ground between noon and 4pm on Saturday, October 24. Paul Edwards, the association’s community officer, said: “We are really excited about this community sports day.
“We are being joined by many local sports clubs.
“They will be putting on not only demonstrations but will also be giving the public a chance to join in.”
Anyone wanting more details, or who would like to bring along a club, should call Mr Edwards on 01905 823100.
