THIS man is believed to have carried out frauds at 20 branches of an agricultural supplier, including three in south Worcestershire.
CCTV stills of the man who has fraudulently obtained more than £3,000 of items, predominantly power tools, by using false identification have now been issued by police.
A still of a dark-coloured Suzuki Vitara the man is believed to have driven has also been released.
The man is believed to have carried out frauds at 20 of Countrywide Farm-ers’ 46 branches over more than three years.
Stores in Worcester Road, Malvern; Hanley Road, Upton-upon-Severn, and the Four Pools Retail Park in Evesham were all targeted. Stores in Hereford and Ledbury were also targeted.
A police spokesman said: “We want to bring this man to justice for the south Worcestershire off-ences, but we are also working closely with seven other forces who are looking into what seem to be identical crimes.”
The man is described as white, aged about 40, 5ft 11in tall, slim but muscular and with a shaven head. He sometimes wears glasses and is thought to have worn a body-warmer over a T-shirt during most of the incidents, the majority of which did not come to light until some days later.
