The following inquests were opened and closed by the Worcestershire coroner:
• An inquest was opened after 66-year-old John Walters, of St Anns Road, Malvern, became unwell and died in hospital on Monday, August 31. The inquest was adjourned for further reports.
• The coroner opened and adjourned an inquest into the death of 50-year-old Sheena Thundercliffe, of Edward Street, Evesham, after she was found unconscious at her home and later died in hospital on Monday, September 7.
• An inquest into the death of 29-year-old Stuart Leeks, of Woodfarm Road, Malvern, was opened after he was found collapsed in the bathroom of his home on Tuesday, September 1.
• Sylvia Bailey, of Meade Court, Evesham, died as a result of alcohol abuse, the coroner ruled.
The 67-year-old was found dead in her living room on Friday, July 10.
• An open verdict was given after the death of former Droitwich Mayor Graham Gopsill.
The Wychavon councillor died from lung cancer in April this year aged 70.
