A BIG cheque has been given to the charity Help for Heroes by a Worcester school.
Pupils from RGS Worcester were able to raise and hand over the sum of £1,600.32 to the charity. Peter Elcock, Help for Heroes, volunteer group co-ordinator for Worcestershire, was on hand to receive the cash, above, and also presented the school with certificates of appreciation, awarded in recognition of the contribution of RGS Worcester and for outstanding fund-raising support. Last term’s charity day saw every pupil and member of staff play their part, enjoying a range of themed activities.
