A DELIVERY man will lose his job after being banned from driving.
Richard Baker had been to his local pub to speak to the landlord, he had no intention of drinking but while he was waiting he drank three pints.
He was stopped by police as he drove home to Church Close in Stoke Bliss, near Tenbury Wells.
A breath test revealed 58mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Baker, 47, admitted drink driving at Worcester Magistrates Court.
Susie Duncan, defending, said: “It was the first time he had been out because he had been off sick for five months with depression.”
He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £100 and ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
