AN elderly lady had to be rescued from a railway station lift today.
Firefighters from Worcester were called out to Foregate Street Railway Station in the city centre after the woman got stuck at about 7.56am.
After the alarm was raised a fire crew were able to get her out after 20 minutes.
It is not yet known how she came to be trapped.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “We used lift keys to get into the lift and reach her.”
