A MAN has died after his car left the road and hit a tree in Tardebigge, Worcestershire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called the incident, involving a silver BMW convertible, on the B4096 Hewell Lane at 11.55pm on Saturday.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been formally identified by police as 37-year-old Steven Furniss, from Rednall.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a single car that had left the road and had been in collision with a tree.
“One person had been travelling in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
"Crews immediately assessed the driver, a man, unfortunately it quickly became apparent that there was nothing that could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
