PET owners enjoyed a relaxing coffee and cakes day to raise money for the World Society for the Protection of Animals.
The event was held by the Severn Veterinary Centres in St John’s and Warndon Villages, Worcester.
This year the charity is working with dogs and cats in desperate situations across the globe. It aims to look after dogs and cats properly and educate people on how to look after them.
“With the money raised going to a great cause, helping animals round the world really will be a piece of cake,” said Jan Stevenson, PR manager for Severn Veterinary Centre.
Just £10 can pay for a day of neutering and vaccinations and £50 can fund educational workshops to encourage responsible pet ownership.
