THE M5 is now closed in both directions between junctions eight and seven after a tanker overturned.
The accident happened on the northbound carriageway between junctions eight near Strensham and seven near Worcester.
Fire crews were called to the scene at around 8.15am and are still there now.
Six fire crews from various locations, including Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are at the scene.
