READERS have been voting in their droves for their favourite small furry animal in this year’s Worcester News Pet Idol 2008.
From dozens of entrants, ranging from guinea pigs and floppy-eared rabbits to cheeky ferrets, the final entrants have been whittled down to the top 10 most popular pets.
Already featured this week were the cutest cats and the proudest pooches from Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
Tomorrow we’ll feature the pets who are not in any of the other three categories, as well as a special section for pets who look like their owners.
A panel of judges including Jim Weston, managing director of JustforPets, editor of your Worcester News Kevin Ward and the newspaper’s promotions manager Sarah Bevan will pick the winners from each category.
Those winners will then be invited to a ceremony at JustforPets, where the top pet will be crowned Pet Idol 2008.
