Needy people in Worcester have been receiving special Christmas parcels, thanks to the generosity of the city’s residents.
Members of Worcester’s five Rotary clubs, in conjunction with your Worcester News, ran a scheme collecting bags full of groceries from households across the city and delivering them to about 800 people in need, including the elderly and the poor.
Mayor of Worcester Lucy Hodgson helped to deliver some of the Christmas parcels to people in St George’s Walk, Barbourne.
