QUEEN Victoria paid a special visit to a Worcester school as part of the pupils’ history topic.
The imposing Queen spent time with the youngsters at Gorse Hill Community Primary School, who made cakes and flags especially for her arrival.
Assistant headteacher Adam Breakwell said: “It was a great day.
“The children were mesmerised by her appearance.
“She pretended to be a time traveller who had come to the school as she would have done in the Victorian times.”
